#mistertfy64's Website #Update #Transparency

Hi there.

I have decided to implement a general privacy policy for mistertfy64.com (and its subdomains) for transparency purposes.

Even though the website doesn't ask for your personal information directly, I still feel like this needs to be done.

This privacy policy will cover everything under the mistertfy64.com domain and the mistertfy64.com domain.

I believe this will make the website more transparent.

Mathematical Base Defenders Transparency Update Post #1

#Mathematical Base Defenders #Transparency

Introduction

Hello there.

I want to be transparent about what I do to my commerical services, and the first step to do that is to be transparent with my first commerical service, Mathematical Base Defenders. I will be listing what Mathematical Base Defenders is and is not, and what I expect from my users (although this isn't really enforced to my users).

Note

Before I start, I want to tell you that this does not cover one very important topic yet: Privacy. This will be posted on a seperate blog post. For now, I want to cover about what it is and what it is not, so that no one gets misinformed.

This is also subject to change at anytime, and this change hasn't been implemented yet as of writing this blog post.

What Mathematical Base Defenders is

Mathematical Base Defenders is a game about math.

It is a game about making math problems to defend your base.

Mathematical Base Defenders is a game about speed.

It is yet another number-cruncher math game.

Mathematical Base Defenders is a brain game.

It is yet another brain game.

What Mathematical Base Defenders is NOT

Mathematical Base Defenders is NOT a subsitute for a legitimate math tutor.

Let me repeat it. It is NOT a subsitute for a legitmate math tutor. While it is a brain, speed, and math game. It doesn't really teach you anything. While it might make you better at creating math problems, it doesn't make you better at solving them. (Well, sure, it might help very slightly, but for the most part, it doesn't.) It might improve your math speed and brain (this has NOT been proven to be true, and I feel like this is a speed-math/brain game). It only has elementary arithmetic.

While I wanted this to be a (free) math tutor, I realized that using this method of play, it wasn't OK to be called a legitmate math tutor.

If you want an actual math tutor, this is not the place. There are many math games that function as a gamified math tutor, but this isn't one of them. Especially when, as of time of writing, I am not a qualified math tutor.

Conclusion

Let me repeat it one last time: Mathematical Base Defenders is NOT a subsitute for a legitimate math tutor. I know this has quite strong language, but thats what I need to make things clear. I am sorry if this makes you feel uncomfortable, I want to be as polite as possible, but I don't want to make (people think this is) a scam/misleading website or mislead people, or a kind of that.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my social media accounts or you can email me or the support email for the service. I might not be available to respond to you immediately.
